The Nouveau Jewels Website Terms & Conditions and General Notes
· Ordering
Orders can be placed with total confidence by using the shopping basket.
Fill out the ORDER FORM for New customers or use the Login option for Previous Customers.
Payment method is by credit card or by cheque and chosen at the Summary Page.
Credit cards are accepted through PayPal Secure Payments and Nochex Online Payments.
Alternatively by choosing the INVOICE option at the Summary page, you can post your Cheque to the address on Invoice summary.
Your Payment Options can be chosen at the Summary stage.
Every item will be packed with extreme care, we want everything to arrive in perfect condition.
A confirmation email will be sent on receipt of your order and your item will be posted within the shortest possible time.
Items are usually despatched within two working days of receipt of your payment. (Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays.)
Please use "Order Status" to check progress of your purchase as this will be updated at all stages.
· Items Can Be Reserved
Items can be Reserved or Laid Away with a small deposit.
To start the process, we will need an initial minimum deposit of 20%.
Please email and confirm that you wish to reserve your chosen item.
If you prefer to pay the deposit by Paypal or Nochex just let us know, an Invoice can be sent by email for the initial payment.
If you prefer to send a deposit by cheque, just add your chosen item to the basket and at the Summary stage choose the INVOICE option and let us know the amount you are posting.
· Security Guarantee
Your privacy is very important to us. Our secure-server software encrypts your credit or debit card number and personal details. We only store your billing and delivery address details to allow faster processing of future orders. Any information gathered will be kept in strictest confidence and will NOT be passed onto any third party.
· UK Orders and Shipping
UK customers may pay by personal cheque, Nochex online payment or PayPal secure payments.
Credit cards are ONLY accepted through Nochex or PayPal.
Please do not send cash, as we will not be responsible if it does not arrive.
Postage costs will be combined if ordering more than one item.
Payment must be received within 10 days of the sale or the item(s) after which we reserve the right to cancel the sale.
All items are subject to prior sale.
UK Postage is by Special Delivery:
Small Items £4.75; Medium Items £6.50; Larger Items £8.00
Lower priced items p&p is £3 First Class Post (Usually £50 & under) & Postage for Umbrellas £4.75 First Class Post. · International Orders
Customers from outside the UK, please place your order with confidence, and by the following methods:

Shipping is by Royal Mail Airmail Signed For:
European destinations £7.60 for small items and for large items up to £12.80.
International destinations £9.50 for small items and for large items up to £16.
Lower priced items p&p is £4.80 to Europe & Rest of World £6 (Usually items £50 & under).
Shipping for Umbrellas £7.60 to Europe & £9.50 to International Destinations.
We reserve the right to make alterations to shipping costs. · Customs Information
When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance are your own responsibility. We do not have any control over these charges and cannot predict any costs due. Your local customs office should be able to supply further information on import duties.
All customs documents will be filled in and information supplied of product type on Customs forms for international packages. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
· Lost & Missing Deliveries
If an item is lost during transit, we will issue a refund as soon as the insurance claim is received from the shipping company, usually within 4 - 6 weeks. We do not take responsibility for any personal or third party losses.
If you have recently placed an order and you think the delivery of your item/items is overdue,

· Returns / Refunds
We want all of our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. If you feel the need to return an item, please notify us by email to discuss the problem before sending it back. Returns are accepted if shipped within 3 days of receipt, after receiving email confirmation. Please return the item in the same packaging and condition. Costs for returning an item must be borne by the purchaser. After we ensure the item is in the same condition as when shipped we will refund by the same payment method. We are not obliged to refund any payment after the 10-day period. Shipping costs are not refundable.
· Terms and Notices
This Web Site is offered on condition of your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of this Site constitutes your agreement with our terms and conditions.
· Accuracy of Information
We will endeavour to give a full and clear description of each item. Information and prices appearing on the Website are believed to be accurate, but we cannot warrant or guarantee accuracy. All prices are not contractually binding. We will inform you of any discrepancies with a price before you are committed to purchase. All prices are in Pounds Sterling (GBP £). You are responsible for paying the entire amount due on your purchase, including any applicable taxes, shipping and other charges.
