Charles Horner Art Nouveau Silver & Enamel Celtic Design Brooch c1908 SOLD
An antique Charles Horner of Halifax Silver and Enamel brooch.
A super brooch, also designed for Liberty's at the time, in a beautiful stylised Celtic knot design with two enamel sections in vibrant shades of blues and greens.
In excellent all original condition with no damage to the enamel and fully working early "C" clasp fastener. There is only a tiny little nick in the silver on the left hand side edge, though this is hardly noticeable.
Fully Hallmarked Sterling Silver Chester 1908 and clear initials C.H. for Charles Horner.
Measures 1 1/8" x 7/8" (28 x 22 mm).
