JA&S Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Enamel Butterfly Brooch SOLD
Sterling Silver and enamel butterfly brooch by John Atkins & Sons, dating from circa 1918.
A superb, beautifully crafted butterfly, the enamelling in irridescent yellow with an apple green and blue striped body.
Measuring: 2 5/8 x 1 1/2 ins
(68mm x 36mm).
Stamped with JA&S and design number 2376.
Marked STERLING SILVER.
In very good original condition with only a very minute pin prick to the glaze on the left wing.
No chips, repairs or enamel loss, with a fully working clasp.
